Lavender outdoors Layout

Good afternoon!

I have an extra post in between my weekly Tuesday posts so that I can enter my Lavender Lane layout in the White With 1 monthly challenge.  It has taken me all month to complete!

I started at the beginning of the month. I was quite busy at the time and then the school holidays started. I didn't touch my layout for over two weeks, only getting back to it today - after school has gone back and I have caught up with most household chores.

I started, as I have been lately, with the background first then choosing the photo second. I wanted to experiment with different mediums - some worked well and others didn't. And then I actually covered up all the acrylic medium so added more on today after finishing the layout.

When I flipped through my album of printed photos I came across this one of the sunrise. At first I wasn't convinced I should use this photo on a purple layout- it is an outdoors photo after all (and therefore I would have generally scrapped it with natural colours). However it looked good on the background so I went with it and I'm glad I did.

Here are some detail shots.

Thanks for stopping by today.
