Blue & Green Layout

Howdy crafty peeps!

When I had out all my bright green supplies for creating my White ... With 1 layout for March, I also had out a bunch of preprinted photos I thought could match a green layout. One of those photos was the photo I have used in today's layout, but I decided I didn't want it solely green. So I used the green supplies as well as some blue ones I pulled out.

This is what I came up with:

This layout came together really quickly.

The title is a mix of old and new - old green sticker alphas (a Christmas collection from years ago - possibly Simple Stories) and new blue foil thickers I picked up for $1 at Spotlight (when they're normally $10 - $13 a packet, I couldn't help but buy five different packets).

Each of the three clusters has a 1" heart punched from blue patterned paper, as well as little sequin stars and rhinestones.

Each cluster also has a green star sticker and another green sticker, in the photo above it is the scallop circle, in the photo below the joy circle. All of those stickers are from Christmas sticker sheets! I decided they were generic enough to use on this layout.

I'm really glad I went with a blue and green colour scheme for this layout - it matches all the colours in the photo beautifully, and preserves the memory in style.

Remember, it's always ok to change your mind. It's your layout, it's your photo, change whatever you want until it's right for you.

Until next week,
Jessica T
