The Triangle Approach

Hey crafty people,

Today's layout is a design that some have been using for a long time and while I have been admiring those layouts, I only recently tried it myself. I actually did it on last weeks layout as well, and this one is using the second half of the paper. The half and half paper on the diagonal, creating two large triangles.

This layout is half pink and half a music paper. The picture is me getting ready for my wedding, so I thought the music paper was fitting - wedding bells and all that :-)

I did all the embellishing along the diagonal join and around the photo. All the embellishments are from one collection so they match beautifully and made it quick to make.

I thought the 'Always Smiling' piece was very appropriate, and used lots of florals. A few of the flowers are actually fussy cut from patterned paper from a different collection, but they matched nicely.

I did a few layers around the photo, and added this floral on foam for dimension.

More florals and another fitting piece 'What a Beautiful Life'. I added in the tiny floral stickers all over the layout as well as the tiny word stickers.

It was a quick design with a cute end result.  I'm very happy with it and will use the design again in the future.

Thanks for stopping by,
Jessica T
