How to scrap those really colourful photos
When I received the White ... With 1 colour of the month for June, Space Frontier (dark grey, I knew it was going to be perfect to scrap photos that were really colourful and bright.
I sorted through my stack of already printed photos and found one that had been in there for years. One that should never have been printed in colour. One that was all sorts of colours that just aren't me (on that note, I will mention that the blanket and baby toy never belonged to me, so those colours really aren't me!) A photo that I have looked at so many times and just not known what to do with - what colours could I ever use to scrap that? A neutral one, that's what.
Along with the colour of Space Frontier grey, June also came with an optional sketch which I adapted to suit using just one photo.
Without further ado, here is that very colourful photo and the neutral coloured layout I made to try and calm it down!
I cut three pieces of different dark grey patterned papers the same size as the photo and slightly off set them all. I then matted the photo with different white and grey papers and stuck that in place. I only lightly embellished the page as the photo was so busy already.
